The major research of Dynamic Systems and Control Laboratory (DSCL) focus on design, modeling, estimation, control, and optimization of dynamic systems, particularly for vehicle, automotive, connected and automated driving, internal combustion engine, powertrain, aftertreatment, microgrid, and mechatronic systems.
PhD Openings: We are seeking PhD students with strong resaerch motivations on vehicle, mobility, dynamic systems, and control (We are looking for 1-2 more PhD students for Fall 2022 or Spring 2023). Interested and self-motivated students with vehicle dynamics, control (theory), and/or optimization background are encouraged to contact Dr. Chen by email for more information. M.S. students with hands-on work experience and/or publication will be preferred.
