The major research of Dynamic Systems and Control Laboratory (DSCL) focus on design, modeling, estimation, control, and optimization of dynamic systems, particularly for vehicle, automotive, connected and automated driving, internal combustion engine, powertrain, aftertreatment, microgrid, and mechatronic systems.
New PhD Openings: We are looking for 2 new PhD students in Summer or Fall 2021, who will work on developing and testing cooperative control of a large group of scaled Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAVs). Interested and self-motivated students with vehicle dynamics, control, and/or optimization background are encouraged to contact Dr. Chen by email for more information. MS students with hands-on work experience and/or publication will be preferred for these openings.
